Aqua Vista Marimba Band
The Aqua Vista Marimba Band has won numerous titles at National level and continues to excel under leadership of its teacher, Andelene Ross. The Gately Rotary Club has responded positively to requests from the Aqua Vista School to assist with financing.
Loaves & Fishes
Loaves and Fishes in East London distributes food to the needy and hungry and the Gately Rotary Club supports this venture.
Masizame Training Centre
The Masizame Training Centre project comprised the acquisition of land, construction of a workshop building, fencing the property and making available sewing and woodwork equipment. These would be used to train the students, who are mentally handicapped, to make articles.
Robin Good
Robin Good organization supplies non perishable goods collected from business and supplies to the poor in desperate need of assistance. Gately Rotary Club financially contributes to this initiative.
The Haven Wellness Centre
Gately Rotary Club financially supports Wellness Centers where terminally ill patients are provided with palliative care. Young children are also provided with day-care facilities.
The Workbench
The Workbench offers handicapped individuals an opportunity for employment performing routine handwork. Gately Rotary sponsors social activities and provide gifts to the people at the Workbench.
