Rotary donates six wheelchairs - Feb 2008
Six of a consignment of 5000 wheelchairs from the Rotary International British Isles were handed over on 7 February, by the Gately Rotary Club to the Valley, run by the Berea Gardens Retirement Foundation.
Gately Rotary executive member Pieter Bosch said that the 5000 wheelchairs will be distributed by Rotary Clubs in district 9320, which covers the areas from East London through to Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein through to Upington and Potchefstroom.
