Rotary donates six wheelchairs - Feb 2008

Six of a consignment of 5000 wheelchairs from the Rotary International British Isles were handed over on 7 February, by the Gately Rotary Club to the Valley, run by the Berea Gardens Retirement Foundation.

Annual visit by DG Lionel Heath - Feb 2008

During the recently held annual visit by District Governor Lionel Heath at the Regent Hotel in East London on 19 February 2008, a Paul Harris award was handed to Sam Nassimov, for being an exemplary Rotarian and a worthy recipient of this prestigious award.

Kusile Interact Club Member's Note - Feb 2008

Zizipho Nazo, the former president of Kusile Interact Club, shares thoughts on Rotary and being an active member in the community. "It made me believe that we can change the world and make it a better a place if we work as a team and give out love and hope to people. I have visited an orphanage here in PE a couple of weeks ago and it made me realise that I will always be part of a caring nation."
